AMES, Iowa - No. 13 Iowa State returns to dual action inside Hilton Coliseum for the first time since mid-November when the Cyclones welcome two of their oldest conference foes, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, Friday and Sunday. ISU has won 12-consecutive home Big 12 duals (last loss: Oklahoma State, 2021).

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
Friday's dual against Oklahoma will be part of a Beauty and the Beast event, featuring Cyclone wrestling and gymnastics side-by-side.
All seating is general admission with the exception of sections 121-123, which will be held for Johnny's MatCYd Club members on a first come, first serve basis. A Johnny's wristband will be required for entry into these sections.
Johnny's will operate as normal for this event with Coach Dresser's pre-match chalk talk taking place approximately 30 minutes prior to the first match.

FREESTYLE EXHIBITION
Fans are encouraged to remain in their seats following the Iowa State vs. Oklahoma State dual on Sunday for a freestyle exhibition match between the Cyclone Regional Training Center's Reineri Ortega and Oklahoma State assistant coach Thomas Gilman.
The match will not be carried live as part of ESPN's broadcast of the ISU-OSU dual. It can be viewed shortly afterwards via IAwrestle's YouTube and Rokin pages.

KEY STORYLINES
- The Cyclones are winners of three straight and six of their last seven duals.
- Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are two of ISU's oldest rivals, having met the Sooners 101 times on the mat, more than any other opponent in program history. Oklahoma State is third on that list, having squared off 88 times against ISU.
- Injuries continue to plague the Cyclones this season. Head coach Kevin Dresser announced Tuesday that heavyweight Yonger Bastida will miss the remainder of the season due to a lingering knee injury and will pursue a medical redshirt. ISU already lost starters Casey Swiderski (141) and Connor Euton (165) to season ending injuries in the first semester. All-American Anthony Echemendia has been out with a high-ankle sprain since early December. Kysen Terukina (125) is expected to miss 2-4 weeks due to a knee sprain suffered at the Cyclone Open while Cody Chittum (157) is day-to-day with an elbow injury.
- Paniro Johnson, who owns dual victories at 149, 157 and 165 pounds this season, carries a team-best nine-match winning streak into the weekend. Johnson is 6-0 since taking over the 149-pound spot.
- Kevin Dresser preaches a high-paced, entertaining style of wrestling and encourages his athletes to give fans their money's worth. This season, nearly half of Cyclone wrestlers' wins have come with bonus points (43-of-85, 50.6%).
- For the second season in a row, Iowa State will have a dual broadcast live on the main ESPN network when the Cyclones take on No. 3 Oklahoma State Sunday. Last year's Cy-Hawk dual in Ames was the first collegiate wrestling dual to ever air on the main ESPN network. Sunday's dual will be the second.
