AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State men's golf team will look to build off their strong fall season as they begin their spring season in Tucson, Arizona for the N.I.T.

COURSE INFORMATION
A historic host of countless PGA Tour and NCAA events, the Catalina Course (par 72 and 7200 yards) has long provided a fair test of golf to players of every caliber. Beginning in 1965, when nationally televised images of players like Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Lee Trevino walked onto the lush green fairways in the middle of winter, Tucson, Arizona was confirmed as a prime golf destination. Today, the Catalina Course remains host to the Cologuard Classic -- A PGA Tour Champions Event.
KEY STORYLINES
- The Cyclones picked up two tournament victories in the fall season, winning the Gopher Invitational and the Zach Johnson Invitational.
- Iowa State finished in ninth place at Big 12 Match Play back in October. The Cyclones held a team record of 1-1-2.
- Entering 2025, the Cyclones currently have three golfers inside the Top-10 in the career stroke average list. Luke Gutschewski sits atop the list at 71.50, Paul Beauvy is in third with 71.95, and Owen Sawyer is eighth with 72.70.
- Zach May finished his fall season strong, placing in 7th at the Zach Johnson Invitational, and leading the Cyclones in Big 12 Match Play with a 2-1-1 record.
