For the first time this season, the Cyclones as a whole were shut out from reaching the endzone. Jalen Travis saw his Colts squad improve to a T-league best record of 5-1, while Enyi and the Broncos picked up a win on foreign soil.
Week seven will have the Texans trio returning from bye for a major Monday Night Football game against Seattle, while David Montgomery and the Lions also have a big Monday Nighter against Tampa Bay.
David Montgomery – #5, Detroit Lions (4-2)
Montgomery about had his second passing touchdown in as many weeks, but an illegal shift by QB Jared Goff negated the score. Montgomery did fine on the ground, picking up six yards a pop and totaling over 60 yards in the Sunday Night loss. Lions coach Dan Campbell mentioned in his weekly media session that he'd like to see Montgomery get more carries as they attempt to "balance" the backfield workload.
