11.10.2025 | Athletics
In response to increased food insecurity needs within the Ames community, the Iowa State University Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) will be hosting a special edition of the CyCans Food Drive in collaboration with the United Way of Story County. This community-focused initiative is aimed at providing food for families in need throughout Story County. The event will take place Friday, November 14 through Monday, November 17 in Hilton Coliseum before the Cyclones' Wrestling, Volleyball, Women's Basketball and Men's Basketball athletic contests.
CyCans offers Cyclone fans an opportunity to contribute nonperishable food items or monetary donations, helping support the United Way of Story County food pantries. Iowa State's student-athletes and staff, along with volunteers from the United Way, will be collecting donations at the entrances of Hilton Coliseum.
