Lipsey Named to Big 12 Starting Five

IRVING, Texas - Iowa State senior Tamin Lipsey has been named to the Big 12 Men's Basketball Starting Five for the week, as the Cyclones beat Mississippi State 96-80 in Sioux Falls, S.D. last week.

Tamin Lipsey's career-high 25 points were tied for a game-high, as he powered the Cyclones to a 16-point win over their first Power 5 opponent of the season. Lipsey chipped in game-highs in both steals (3) and assists (6) as he did it all for ISU.

The victory was the 75th Lipsey has been a part of at Iowa State, as he moved into seventh on the Big 12's all-time steals list with 250. He also passed Will Blalock (2004-06) for 30th in school history in scoring with 1,079.
