AMES, Iowa -Â Iowa State looks to earn its eighth win for just the 13th time in the program's 134-season history and the fifth time under head coach Matt Campbell when it travels to Oklahoma State to close out the regular season.

CYCLONES vs. COWBOYS
The Cyclones and Cowboys are set to meet for the 59th time Saturday after not playing in 2024. ISU's last win in Stillwater came in 2018, a 48-42 victory in the "Brock Purdy Game" -Â the first action of Purdy's career he came off the bench and passed for four TDs while rushing for another.
ISU has won just twice in Stillwater in the last 25 years, the other being a 33-26 win in 2000.
Last time they met...
Iowa State and Oklahoma State last met in 2023, a 34-27 Cyclone victory in Ames. Rocco Becht was electric, completing 27-of-38 passes for 348 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions.
GROUND AND POUND
The Cyclone offensive line has been on a war path as of late and ISU is rushing the ball as well as it ever has under head coach Matt Campbell. Iowa State has rushed for at least 150 yards in six-straight games, its longest streak since 2020. Only nine FBS teams have a streak of at least six games with 150 rushing yards.
ISU has had a 100-yard rusher in five-consecutive games, including four-straight by Carson Hansen. Abu Sama III had the other.
KEY STORYLINES
- The Cyclones are looking to complete a season sweep of Oklahoma State, Kansas and Kansas State, longtime foes from the Big Eight days, for the first time since 2021 and just the third time since 1990.
- ISU has 25 wins since the start of 2023, a new school record for wins in a three-year period.
- Since the start of the 2024 season, ISU owns a .720 winning percentage (18-7).
- The Cyclones are 12-6 in their last 18 road games, including 9-4 against Big 12 opponents during that stretch.
- A victory would give ISU a winning record in Big 12 play for the eighth time in 10 seasons under Campbell. Prior to his arrival ISU had one winning conference season in 20 years.
- For the second-straight season ISU's defense has been bitten by the injury bug. A year after being decimated by injury at linebacker (56 missed games), the 2025 DB room as been hit (37 games missed). In the wins against TCU and KU, Iowa State started just one of the five defensive backs that started the season opener against Kansas State in Ireland. Marcus Neal Jr. is the only starter from the original starters still available.
- In the last eight games, ISU has had a player post either 100 rushing or receiving yards in each game.
- Rocco Becht eclipsed 9,000 career passing yards last week and is the third QB in program history to top the mark. In Big 12 history, only 11 players have passed for 9,000 yards with 60 passing touchdowns and 19 rushing touchdowns. Becht's next rushing TD will break Brock Purdy's school record (19) for rushing TDs by a QB.
- Brett Eskildsen had the Cyclones first multi-TD game by an ISU receiver this season last weekend against Kansas. The sophomore finished with six receptions for 73 yards and a pair of TDs in the win.
- Offensive tackle Tyler Miller has made 38-consecutive starts for the Cyclones. His active start streak is the longest among Big 12 offensive linemen.
- Sophomore defensive back Marcus Neal Jr. has compiled 9.0 tackles for loss this season, the most since O'Rien Vance had 10.0 in 2022. Neal intercepted his second pass of the season last weekend against Kansas.
- Defensive back Carson Van Dinter made his first career start against the Jayhawks.
- Kyle Konrardy was named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week for the third time this season after hitting a 55-yard field goal against Kansas. It was his third make of 50-plus yards this season and the fifth of his career, which is tied for the second-most in program history.
