AMES, Iowa – No. 10 Iowa State (11-0, 0-0 Big 12) secured the 74-69 victory over previously unbeaten No. 11 Iowa (9-1, 0-0 Big Ten) before a crowd of 14,009, the third-largest in program history. With the win, Iowa State clinches the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series at 13-2.
With both teams entering the matchup unbeaten, a first in the series since 2004, Iowa State used a big push in the third quarter to lead by as much as 17 and hold the lead until the buzzer rang.
The Cyclones were led by two 20-plus point performances as Audi Crooks had her third game in a row with 30-plus points, ending the night with 30 points and 10 rebounds. Addy Brown scored 20 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, while Jada Williams made for three Cyclones securing double-doubles with 12 assists and 11 points.

How it Happened
Iowa State made its first four shots to lead 8-5, while Iowa flipped the lead right after. It was a back-and-forth battle with ISU providing another lead change at 14-12 on a Crooks jumper. Out of the media timeout, Brown hit a deep shot but Iowa answered with three-straight buckets to put the advantage in its favor at 18-17. With Iowa up 20-19 and less than a second to play, Hawkeye Kylie Feuerbach hit a buzzer-beating triple to make it a four-point game after one.
The second quarter's first field goal came at the 7:15 mark as Crooks delivered the shot to bring it back within one at 23-22. Brown then put the scoreboard in the Cyclones' favor with a jumper to join Crooks in double figures. After Williams stole the ball, the Cyclones went down the court and put in another bucket leading to a Hawkeye timeout. As ISU pressed on to lead 30-26, Harris sunk a deep shot but Iowa responded with a 3 of its own. That triple sparked a 9-0 run as Iowa flipped the advantage at 35-33, but Kenzie Hare put a stop to the run and brought the game to a tie at halftime.
Williams broke the tie with a jumper as the clock read 8:35, and Brown aided in Iowa State remaining ahead with a layup right after. Crooks made it three-straight buckets to keep the lead with ISU at 41-35 and force an early timeout by the visitors. Williams sent the crowd into a frenzy with a triple with just over five minutes to play in the third, and Crooks kept the crowd loud with a layup to stretch an eight-point lead. Hare brought the advantage to double figures with a triple following the media timeout and cap an 8-0 run. The Cyclones were unstoppable as they went on to take a 16-point lead (58-42) following Brown's second-made triple. The game was sent to the fourth with ISU leading 61-48.
Iowa sent in a triple at 7:56 to cut its deficit to 10, and following an ISU timeout the Hawkeyes had another 3 to make it 56-63. The Iowa run was brought to 10 midway through the fourth as the score stood at 64-60, and after the Hawkeyes came within three twice Crooks answered with layups both times making it a five-point edge. With less than two minutes to play, the game again was brought within three points. Hare had a crucial block on a 3-point shot with 16 seconds to go, and Crooks grabbed the ball and proceeded to draw the foul. Crooks made one of her free throws as the Cyclones went up four at 73-69 and after a missed Iowa shot, Brown drew a foul of her own and also sent in a free throw. ISU held Iowa scoreless from there as the clock hit zero with ISU up 74-69.
Top Performers
Crooks had her 78th-straight double-figure game and has now scored 20 or more points in nine of 11 games this season as she totaled 30 points. Crooks' career total of 20-plus point games is now brought to 50, while her 30-plus point career total stands at 12. Crooks dialed in double-double No. 3 of the season as she added 10 rebounds to her stat line.
Brown had game No. 8 in a row with 10-plus points and her first 20-plus outing of the season. Brown had her fourth double-double of the season adding 12 rebounds. Jada Williams also had her fourth double-double this season with 12 assists and 11 points.

- Brown also pulled down 12 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season and 22nd of her career. She ranks eighth all-time in Iowa State history.
- Jada Williams posted her fourth double-double of the season and career with 11 points and a game- and career-high 12 assists.
- The trio of double-doubles marks the second time this season three Cyclones have recorded double-doubles in the same game (Brown, Crooks, Williams vs. Norfolk State; Nov. 16, 2025).
- With a basket in the third quarter, Alisa Williams scored her 200th career point.
