This will mark the third time in the last four years the Cyclones have hit the road for the ISU-UNI dual. Iowa State has won the last two matchups at UNI.

KEY STORYLINES
- In a dual that came down to the final match, No. 14 Iowa State outlasted No. 11 South Dakota State, 20-15, Friday night in Brookings. In the heavyweight match, No. 27 Daniel Herrera came from behind against SDSU's No. 26 Luke Rasmussen to win, 8-7, and clinch the dual for ISU.
- The bottom half of Iowa State's lineup has been rounding into form as of late. Paniro Johnson (149) owns a team-best 14-match winning streak while Evan (133) and Jacob (141) Frost have both won 11 in a row. Cody Chittum (157) has won 11 of his last 12 matches.
- Johnson, who owns dual victories at 149, 157 and 165 pounds this season, is 11-0 since taking over the 149-pound spot. Johnson owns a 28:1 takedown ratio this season.
- The Cyclones have been bit by the injury bug this season.
