Becht An Allstate AFCA Good Works Team Nominee

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State quarterback Rocco Becht is a nominee for the 2025 Allstate American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Good Works Team, recognizing the redshirt junior for his commitment to the community and leadership beyond the gridiron.
Becht is a standout on the field and in the community, donating his time and NIL earnings to better the communities that support Iowa State Athletics.
In 2024, Becht hosted a camp for the Perry community after tragedy struck the community. He ultimately donated $7,500 to Perry Youth Football as well.
Then in 2025, the Wesley Chapel, Florida, native made a donation of Xbox gaming consoles to Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames for the pediatric unit, so every room has a console for patients to use during their stay.
He is frequently involved in other team community service activities as well.
Becht and the Cyclones open the 2025 season on August 23 against Kansas State in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic.
