Swoboda Named Big 12 Swimmer of the Week

AMES, Iowa – Sophomore Grace Swoboda was named the Big 12 Swimmer of the Week on Thursday following a standout performance against the Iowa Hawkeyes on January 31.
Swoboda captured first place in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:00.45, breaking both the Iowa State school record and the Beyer Pool record in the event. With the performance, she now sits atop ISU's all-time top performers list in the 100 breaststroke.
Swoboda and the rest of the Iowa State Swimming and Diving team will compete again on February 6, where they will host the Kansas Jayhawks in the Cyclones' final home dual meet of the season.
