AMES, Iowa – Iowa State (2-11, 0-6 Big 12) fell to No. 19 UCF (13-2, 6-1 Big 12) by a score of 4-0 Friday evening. The Cyclones' losing streak extends to nine matches with the loss.

In doubles, the Cyclones hung in there early, but ultimately couldn't secure the doubles point. Suzanie Pretorius and Alicia Dale were had the lead on Court 3, 5-4, when the Knights clinched the point from Courts 1 and 2.

In singles, the Knights got early victories on Courts 2 and 4, before clinching the match on Court 3. Alicia Dale was one game away from extending her singles winning streak to three, leading Lauren Seye, 7-6 (3), 5-2, at the time the match was called.

The Cyclones will be back in action with another home match Sunday against No. 40 Houston at Noon.
