COLUMBUS, Ohio - After a two and a half hour weather delay that forced a shotgun start at 10 a.m., Paul Beauvy and Zach May conclude their senior seasons at the NCAA Columbus Regional.
Beauvy shot a second consecutive 78 today to finish in a tie for 51st at +15. The Saint-Alban, France native totaled six birdies in his second NCAA Regional appearance. Beauvy ends his career as a Cyclone with 15 Top-10 finishes, tied for sixth-most in Iowa State history (Nate McCoy), including two tournament victories at the 2025 N.I.T. and 2025 Gopher Invitational. Beauvy sets a school record for stroke average over a career at 71.62, as well as setting the lowest stroke average by a freshman (71.94) in his freshman season, and his scoring average this season is the ninth-best in school history (71.37).
May shot five-over in his final round to place in a tie for 57th (+16). The senior from Christchurch, New Zealand carded four birdies this week, giving him exactly 350 birdies in his career. May had a career year in his final season, firing a career-low 65 in this year's N.I.T., carding a career-best eight rounds in the 60's, and finished with the lowest scoring average of his career (72.09). May earned medalist honors at the 2025 Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate and qualified for his first NCAA Regional this season.
#2 Florida wins the NCAA Columbus Regional at even-par, with #14 Stanford, Memphis, #11 Arizona State, and #25 Florida State all advancing to the NCAA Men's Golf Championship. Long Beach State's Steen Zeman qualifies for the NCAA Championship as an individual, finishing in 5th at two-over par.
