Alberto Vilar Finishes Season In National Rankings

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State's Mari Paz Alberto Vilar finished her sophomore season ranked No. 108 in the ITA singles rankings.
The Alcala De Henares, Spain native was nationally ranked in the final 11 polls of the season. Playing mostly in the No. 1 singles spot for the Cyclones, Alberto Vilar rose to as high as No. 45. She finished the season 14-15 overall in singles action, earning four singles wins against ranked foes.
