Cyclone Student-Athletes Post Highest GPA On Record

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State student-athletes continued to demonstrate excellence in the classroom this spring, posting the highest grade point average on record.
Seventeen teams posted a GPA above 3.00 in the spring and student-athletes averaged a 3.37 GPA.
A total of 61 student-athletes earned a 4.00 semester GPA, while 180 were named to the Dean's List and 331 were scholar-athletes.
In total, 78 percent of ISU student-athletes recorded a 3.0 GPA or higher.
The softball team (3.65 GPA) and tennis team (3.51) posted record-setting semesters in the classroom.
Current Cyclone student-athletes hold a 3.37 cumulative GPA. Iowa State recently celebrated its spring graduates in a ceremony.
