Iowa State runners competed in the Cyclone Preview on Friday, September 4 as part of a preseason tune up. Sophia Keditukei led the women with a 14th place individual finish while a trio of ISU freshmen – Jaden Merrick (5th), Mikah Peters (13th) and Carson Driemeier (18th) – paced the men's team.

The Course
After 39 years at the Les Bolstad Golf Course, the 40th Roy Griak Invitational will be run at the Fort Snelling Golf Course. It is described as a relatively flat course, all on grass.
What to Watch For
- The Iowa State men return all runners from the Cyclone Preview squad except Jaden Merrick, but the Cyclones will also be bringing 2025 NCAA Third-Place team members Rodgers Kiplimo and Devan Kipyego.
- The women's squad from the Cyclone Preview including Ruby Hughes, Keditukei, Olivia Verde, Claire White and Sheridan Wheeler will return to run at the Griak Invitational.
