Cyclone Football Gameday Enhancements and Information

AMES, Iowa – A number of things have changed at Jack Trice Stadium ahead of the 2026 season.

Tickets are still available for Saturday's season opener against Southeast Missouri for as little as $30 each. For more information on season tickets and single-game tickets, click here.

Due to the excessive heat forecasted for Saturday, we ask our fans attending the game to be mindful of the following:

BEAT THE HEAT
With the heat index expected to be high this weekend, Iowa State has implemented a number of ways for fans to beat the heat at this weekend's game:

Stay hyrdrated:
- Fans will be allowed to bring unopened bottles of water (20 oz or less) into Jack Trice Stadium – due to the forecast, for this game, there is no per-person limitation
- There are bottle filling stations and drinking fountains throughout the stadium
- Reduce your alcohol intake – consumption of alcohol contributes to dehydration
There are cooling stations in the east and west concourse of the stadium
If you are feeling overwhelmed by the heat, the Jacobson Building (at the north end of the stadium) has air conditioned space on the ground floor available to general public
- If you feel you need medical attention, please visit the First Aid stands on east or west concourse or call the customer service hotline at 515-296-7849
There are shaded areas on east, west and north concourse of the stadium to get out of the sun

PARKING
All parking lots will open at 6 a.m. Parking is still available for Saturday's game by clicking here.

Please do not arrive expecting to stage at the entrance of the lots prior to their scheduled opening. Cars staged or parked near the entrance of each lot may be asked to move at any time in advance of the lots scheduled opening. Any vehicles entering the lots prior to the scheduled opening times may be subject to tow.

Pre-sale single-game parking is sold online only and ends at noon the Friday before each game, or when passes sell out, whichever comes first. Pre-sold passes for public lots are first-come, first-served, with pass holders choosing their lot upon arrival. Any remaining passes may be available on site on game day.

SPIRIT RALLY & CYCLONE WALK STARTS AT 9 A.M.
Join the Marching Band, Spirit Squad and Cy on the north side of Jack Trice Stadium for the Spirit Rally and Cyclone Walk. This is your chance to fire up the team when they arrive at the stadium.

MOBILE TICKETS
All game tickets are issued digitally to fans' smartphones/mobile devices. Screen shots of barcodes may not be used for admission. Download the official Iowa State Athletics App to access and visit Iowa State's Digital Ticketing Guide for complete information on how to access and manage digital tickets. To avoid delays, load your tickets and parking into your mobile wallet before leaving for the game.

GAMEDAY POLICIES
Fans are encouraged to visit the Football Game Day Policies here for all game day information needs. The site includes information on mobile tickets and mobile parking passes, traffic and parking, maps, tailgating and stadium procedures.

ALCOHOL SALES
Starting this fall, we're offering alcohol sales at Jack Trice Stadium. A few key things to know:

No re-entry: Guests will no longer be able to leave and re-enter the stadium during the game.
Where to buy: Alcohol will be sold in the north and south expanded gate areas and the north and south concourses, along with a limited number of portable concession locations on the east and west concourses.
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted to be brought into Jack Trice Stadium. Alcohol sales are offered inside Jack Trice Stadium.
Guests possessing alcohol who do not have proof of being at least 21 years of age, or guests passing alcohol to minors, will be ejected and are subject to arrest.
A maximum of two alcoholic beverages will be sold per person with valid ID, per transaction.
For students seated in the student section, a student can only enter the student section carrying one alcoholic beverage.
Alcohol is not allowed on the NW and NE grass hillsides of the stadium.
Guests are not permitted to leave the facility with alcohol.
Alcohol sales will conclude at the end of the 3rd quarter. If deemed necessary, alcohol sales may be cut off at any time.
No alcohol is sold at the brick and mortar concession stands on the outer concourse of the stadium.
An ID confirming permissible age may be requested at purchase. Acceptable forms of identification are:
• United States Driver's License
• State Issued I.D. with photo
• Military I.D. with photo
• Passport
• Passport I.D. Card
• Mexican Consular Card
Law enforcement officers will enforce all applicable laws. The facility reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any guest.

GATE CHANGES
Gate 1 and Gate 3 have new configurations and entry points this year. New this year, food & beverage vendors as well as alcoholic beverages will be sold in the north and south expanded gate areas.

FAST PASS ENTRY
Fans can scan their tickets before the gates open to receive a wristband for Fast Pass entry at designated gates.

New this year: Fast Pass wristbands will allow entry through the end of the first quarter only.

Wristband pickup: Available starting four hours before kickoff and ends 2.5 hours before kickoff, at these locations only:

Hilton Ticket Office (SW Corner of Hilton Coliseum)
Under Pedestrian Bridge East of Parking Lot S7
East of Parking Lot A5

Wristband Gate Entry Points

Gate 1 (north side): NW and SW corners of the extended gate layout
Gate 2 (east side): South stairwell by parking lot S7 (below pedestrian bridge)
Gate 3 (south side): NE and West sides of extended gate layout

ENHANCED SECURITY
All fans will now enter through metal detectors when entering the stadium. We recommend arriving a little early to allow extra time to get through the gates. Clear bag policy remains in place.

ENHANCEMENTS TO CONCESSIONS
A number of new items have been added to the menu at Jack Trice Stadium this season. Among the new items:

Loaded Burnt Ends Baked Potato (in Sukup End Zone Club)
Sweet Potato Burnt Ends (in Sukup End Zone Club)
