Football Season Ticket Seating Location Process FAQ
Do I have to select my seats on a computer?
We strongly encourage you to select your own seats online through your “My Cyclone Athletics Account” using the Virtual Venue, as this process will give you the most control in making your seat selections. You will be able to see exactly what seats are available, along with “actual views” from the seats.
However, if you are unable to access the internet at your appointment time, you may give your account information to a delegate or you may select seats over the phone (888-478-2925 or 515-294-1816) or in person at the Iowa State Athletics Ticket Office located in the Olsen Building on the northwest end of Jack Trice Stadium.
What internet browsers are supported?
Internet Explorer 9 and above, Firefox 4 and above, Google Chrome 15 and above, and Safari 5.1 and above.
Can I select my seats on an iPad?
Yes, the Virtual Venue technology is compatible with the Apple iPad. It is not compatible with an iPhone or Android devices.
How many times can I select my seat location?
Each season ticket is only eligible to be upgraded once. You will be able to upgrade multiple seats that are the same price at the same time. You appointment window will close for these seats once you have completed the upgrade process. If you have additional seats at a different price point you may re-enter the seating upgrade process and upgrade those seats. If for some reason you need to change your seats after you have finalized your selections, please call the ticket office at 888-478-2925. Please note that once you have confirmed the upgrade of your seats your original tickets are released.
Can I upgrade my seats to a different priced season ticket?
Yes. You may upgrade your season tickets to any seats that are available in the stadium. If you choose to re-locate to seats in a section that requires a higher annual priority-seating donation, than your current seats, an additional donation may be required (based on your current donation level). If you move seats and don't upgrade your donation your seats will be relocated to a section that corresponds with your current donation level. Once seats have been upgraded your original seats are released and are instantly available for others to purchase. If you do not want to increase or make a new priority seating donation, then please choose seats located in your current donation sections or in the general public non-donation seating sections. See the Jack Trice Stadium Seating Chart for more information. Please call the Cyclone Club at 515-294-5022 to make any required annual donation.
When can I begin selecting my seats?
Once your appointment window opens, you can look at live seat inventory and make your seat selections up until the seating process is closed in early June. You do not have to choose seats right away; however, keep in mind that others will be able to select seats as their selection window opens, so we encourage you to choose your seats as close to your assigned time as possible.
Is there a time restriction once I have selected my seats?
For security purposes each step in the selection process does have a time restriction once seats are chosen.
How do I know what seats are available?
Sections highlighted “Green” on the virtual venue have ticket availability. Sections highlighted in “Red” do not. Once you choose your desired section the seats in “Green” are available and the seats in “Red” are unavailable. Please note that you may not leave a single empty seat between the aisle or any other seats.
How can I select seats next to my friends?
Patrons looking to sit in a group, with friends, must wait until the last member of the group’s appointment time. At that time, each member of the group will then need to log-on and choose their respective seats.
Do I need to change my Cyclone Stadium Cushion location?
No. Your Cyclone Stadium Cushion locations will be updated to reflect your new seat location.
Can I choose my priority parking location online?
No. All parking pass locations will be assigned by the Cyclone Club.
