Kyle Wagner is in his first season as a member of the Iowa State Track and Field/Cross Country program’s coaching staff. Wagner is serving as Associate for Operations, and will assist in operations matters for the program and its home meets. Wagner has been a presence with ISU’s home meet operations in the past, and served as a volunteer with the program previously, in 2014-15.

Wagner comes to ISU after two years as a volunteer assistant coach at Wayne State College in Nebraska. Wagner worked with the WSC track and cross country programs.

Wagner graduated from Loras College in 2014, where he was a four-year varsity letter winner in cross country, and a three year letter winner in track and field. Wagner was a team captain for the Duhawks and a multiple time IIAC All-Academic Team honoree.

Wagner is a native of Elkader, Iowa, where he competed at Central Community High School.
