Originally planned to attend Minnesota as a preferred walk-on in 2014 … as a senior in 2013, was off to a fantastic start until suffering an ACL injury in the fourth game of the season … rushed for over 200 yards in each of the first three games … tallied 667 yards and 11 TDs in four games, averaging 10.8 yards per carry on a team which outscored its opponents 139-46 during that span … earned honorable mention all-state honors by the St. Paul Pioneer Press as a junior in 2012 … rushed for 1,222 yards and 13 TDs, averaging 5.6 yards per carry to earn all-conference and team MVP honors … rushed for 314 yards and two TDs as a sophomore … also played hockey … coached by Mike Grant.
