Outdoor: Competed in five meets for ISU … finished 13th in the hammer throw (164-0, 50.00m) at the Big 12 Championships … tossed a personal best 164-5 (50.11m) to finish ninth in the hammer throw at the Musco Twilight … also competed in the hammer throw at the Drake Relays, Sun Angel Classic and Bobcat Invitational.
Indoor: Took part in the weight throw at seven meets … fired a personal best 59-4 (18.08m) to finish 11th at the Big 12 Championships … recorded a then-PR 58-9 1/4 (17.91m) to finish seventh at the Cyclone Open … opened career with 56-10 (17.32m) to finish second at the ISU Holiday Invitational … also competed at the Snowshoe Open, Iowa State Classic, Razorback Invitational and Graduate Classic.
High School
Iowa High School State Champion in the discus as a senior, also took fifth place in the shot put at the state championships, becoming the first female state champion in Paton-Churdan history … was also a two-time all-state honoree in basketball, earning second team honors from the Iowa Print Sportswriters Association and third team from the Iowa Girls Coaches Association as a senior … finished high school basketball career with 1,568 points, 962 rebounds and 354 blocks (the latter of which ranks 16th in Iowa high school history).
