Indoor: Ran at seven meets for Iowa State … earned Second Team All-America honors with 12th place finish in 5,000m run (13:41.71) and 13th place finish in 3,000m run (8:05.53) at the NCAA Championships … picked up silver medals in the 3,000m (7:50.43) and the 5,000m (13:40.77) at the Big 12 Championships … ran to school record 13:41.74 in the 5,000m run to open season at BU Season Opener, a time that ranks No. 5 in NCAA Division I history … set new school record in 3,000m run of 7:43.61 at the Arkansas Qualifier, a time that ranks No. 9 in NCAA Division I history … competed in the 3,000m run at the Millrose Games … took second in the 3,000m run (7:48.98) at the Iowa State Classic … ran personal best 4:01.02 in the mile to finish fourth at the Meyo Invitational, two weeks after running then-PR 4:01.85 in the mile to finish fifth at the Cyclone Open.

XC: Ran for Iowa State in all five meets, helping guide the Cyclones to a second place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships … led Iowa State to runner-up finish at NCAA Championships with second place individual finish in 28:38.7, earning All-America honors in cross country for a second-straight season … picked up three wins on the season and finished second twice, both times to Connor Mantz of BYU … claimed Midwest Region title in Iowa City in 30:17.9, earning first career All-Midwest Region honor … defended Big 12 title at Big 12 XC Championship, winning by 24 seconds … beat the field by 10 seconds at the Wisconsin Nuttycombe Invitational, helping lead Iowa State to the team title in Madison … finished second at the Griak Invitational.

Outdoor: Competed in five meets for the Cyclones … earned a pair of Second Team All-America honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, taking 11th in the 10,000-meter run (28:03.65) and 13th in the 5,000m run (13:30.87) … qualified for NCAA Championships with fastest times at NCAA West Prelims at 5K (13:42.70) and 10K (28:50.11) … became first male in Big 12 history to win three individual titles at a single outdoor championships, winning the 3,000m steeplechase (8:31.82), 5,000m run (13:29.92) and 10,000m run (28:22.98), all three in championships record times and two of them coming in facility record times … earned the Championships High Point Award for his performance … in steeplechase at conference championships, broke 25-year old school record and ran to No. 2 time in NCAA Division I for the season … opened season at Hayward Premiere, winning the 10K in 27:58.10 and earning Big 12 Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week … finished fourth in 5,000m at Oregon Relays in personal best 13:21.02 … made ISU outdoor debut at The Track Meet, hosted by Sound Running in San Juan Capistrano, California in December 2020, breaking ISU school record in 10,000m run in 27:37.29.

Indoor: Ran in four meets for Iowa State … went wire-to-wire to win 5,000-meter run at NCAA Indoor Championships in a meet and school-record time of 13:23.77 … swept to Big 12 titles in the 3,000m (7:57.29) and 5,000m (13:42.52) runs at the Big 12 Championships … at Razorback Invitational, took down school record in 3K in 7:48.36 and anchored for ISU’s school record DMR (9:27.90) … paced the 5,000m run at the Iowa State Classic.

XC: Earned All-America honors at the NCAA Championships with a third-place finish... Iowa State's 40th cross country All-American in Iowa State history... named the USTFCCCA Bill Bergan Award winner, given annually to the best runner in the Midwest Region... won the FSU Winter XC Classic with a time of 22:48.9 for his fourth win of the season... named Big 12 Men’s Runner of the Year and Big 12 Men’s Co-Newcomer of the Year … won the Big 12 Championship with an 8k time of 22:35.5, 14 seconds clear of the second-place finisher … became the second Cyclone to win an individual Big 12 title (Edwin Kurgat, 2018 and 2019) … picked up his second victory of the season at the Cowboy Jamboree with a winning time of 23:34.5 (8k) … named Big 12 Men’s Runner of the Week and the USTFCCCA Male National Athlete of the Week for his win … began his Cyclone career with a victory at the Bob Timmons Classic, crowing the finish line with a 6k time of 18:06.0 … named Big 12 Men’s Runner of the Week following his victory.
