Rejoined the Iowa State starting lineup at 184 pounds in his redshirt senior campaign… posted a 14-15 overall record and 3-7 in dual action… earned First Team Academic All-Big 12 Honors for his work in the classroom… took fifth-place at the Big 12 Championship, defeating Tyler McNutt by 9-3 decision in his final match… competed at the Midlands Championships, Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational and the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open… took fourth place at the Cyclone Open after dropping his first match of the tournament… posted five falls and two technical falls.

Member of the Iowa State wrestling team… earned an Iowa State wrestling Academic Award.

2013-14
Posted an overall mark of 8-5 in 2013-14 … picked up a major decision over Midland’s Joseph Winkler in his lone dual start … Placed second at the UNI Open behind three victories, including a 16-0 tech-fall over South Dakota State’s Brady Ayers.

2012-13
Redshirted initial collegiate season… went 6-8 competing unattached… took fifth-place at the Kaye Young Open after pinning Ellsworth Community College’s Kory Schmelzer 1:06 into the opening period… also competed at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open, UNI Open, Grand View Open and Duhawk Open… won three matches by fall.

Three-time state tournament qualifier … finished third at the state tournament as a senior at 170 … placed fifth at the Fargo Nationals … team captain at Ankeny High School … coached by David Ewing.
