Concluded with Iowa State career with a 21-14 senior campaign… finished his career with an overall mark of 58-39… wrestled to a 10-7 dual mark for career total of 19-16… finished sixth at the Big 12 Championship… pinned Angel Solis of Fresno State on senior day in Hilton Coliseum in 6:59… took second place at the Lindenwood Open… opened the season with a third-place showing at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open… led the team in dual takedowns with 45… tied for second on the team in dual wins with 10… finished the season with 11 bonus-point victories with four pins and seven major decisions… racked a total of six pins, one technical fall and 12 major decisions in his Iowa State career.
2016-17
Made the jump from 184 pounds to 165 pounds in his redshirt junior season… wrestled to a 7-7 record while going 0-3 in duals… competed at the Midlands Championships, Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational and Harold Nichols Cyclone Open on top of his dual appearances… took first place at the Cyclone Open… defeated Dustin Williams by 4-2 decision in sudden victory to win the tournament… finished the season with one pin, one technical fall and two major decisions.
2015-16
Closed out the season with a 24-15 record… finished 9-6 in dual action… qualified for the 2016 NCAA Championship for the first time in his career with an at-large bid… finished fourth at the 2016 Big 12 Championship with a 2-2 record… defeated Brady Ayers of South Dakota State by 3-1 decision in sudden-victory for his sixth overtime victory of the season… finished one match shy of reaching the podium at both the Midlands Championships and the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational… after suffering a first round loss, went on to win six-straight matches at the Cyclone Open to take third-place… rightfully earned the Iowa State wrestling Most Improved Award.
2014-15
Wrestled to a 6-3 record... competed in two tournaments for the Cyclones... finished in fifth-place at the UNI Open... posted a 3-2 record at the tournament... took home sixth-place at the Cyclone Open, recording a 3-1 record before having to injury-default out of the tournament.
2013-14
Redshirted his initial collegiate season, competing in three tournaments unattached ... placed fifth at both the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open and at the Grand View Open ... finished the year with 7 wins and 6 losses.

Four-time state-qualifier… led his team to a state championship en route to an individual title at 215 pounds as a senior… compiled a career record of 73-6.
