Tim Goodwin was hired as Iowa State's Coordinator of Community and Donor Engagement for Wrestling on Sept. 14, 2026.

Goodwin brings more than 25 years of experience in athletics, community engagement, stakeholder relations, communications, event coordination and strategic planning. He has extensive background in athletic administration, fundraising initiatives, constituent service, and cultivating strong relationships that advance organizational goals.

Previously, Goodwin worked for Iowa Workforce Development starting in 2022 and has served as the organization's Chief Strategy Officer since 2024.

Goodwin has extensive background in Iowa high school administration having worked at Muscatine High School and Burlington Community School District as an Associate Principal and Athletic Director.

Goodwin also has experience working in Community Relations with the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics.

He owns two degrees from Western Illinois: a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and a Master of Science in Sport Administration/Management.
