Danielle Guider is in her fourth season as a volunteer coach at Iowa State after completing a sterling career at Missouri in 2010. Â Guider also serves as the team director and head coach of the Cardinal Gymnastics Academy in Ames.
In 2015, Guider worked with Iowa State’s vaulters, a group that continued to improve throughout the entire season. She worked with a young group that saw four freshmen get opportunities to compete for the Cyclones on the apparatus.
Guider helped lead the Tigers to their first-ever appearance at the NCAA Championship in 2010 as well as placing third in the all-around at the Big 12 Championship in her final collegiate campaign. Â Guider also was a key member of the 2010 Missouri squad that won its regional. The Nutley, N.J., native was on the All-Big 12 Championship All-Around team in her senior season.
The 2007 Missouri Freshman of the Year has multiple years of experience coaching at Flip Fest camp, Missouri's gymnastics camp as well as at the United States Gymnastics Development Center II in Mahway, N.J.
Guider was named Missouri's most improved gymnast in 2010, and she was a member of the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll from 2008-2009.
Guider earned her bachelor's degree from Missouri in 2011.
