DURHAM, N.H. - Iowa State (2-5, 0-0 Big 12) placed third Sunday afternoon in its second and final quad meet of the regular season. The meet, hosted by New Hampshire, also featured the Air Force and the Bridgeport. The Cyclones finished with 192.900, New Hampshire finished 195.275, Air Force with 193.950 and Bridgeport with 191.800.
The Cyclones had two gymnasts combine for four podium finishes on the day, as Haylee Hardin claimed the crown both on vault (9.9) and floor (9.9) while Frederique Sgarbossa secured a third-place finish on beam (9.8) and a second-place finish in the all-around (39.1) with a personal best score.
"Today was not indicative of who this team is, but even with that, you need to celebrate the wins. Today was filled with both career and season-high scores. Haylee Hardin, that kid is super tough. That whole class is. Frederique Sgarbossa competed all around for us, so although today was not what we wanted, there were still some highlights," said Head Coach Ashley Miles Greig.

Haylee Hardin earned her first of two 9.9s on vault this afternoon. It matched her career high, which in turn gave her a new season high. Ella Roberts was another standout on vault for Iowa State. The freshman earned a new career high on vault with her score of 9.75. Sgarbossa tallied a 9.725, which tied her season high.
