LINCOLN, Neb. -- The No. 9 Iowa State women's gymnastics team fell to No. 7 Nebraska 197.575-197.000, in the Bob Devaney Sports Center. ISU's team total ranks second in school history. The Cyclones are now 8-5 overall and 3-2 in the Big 12.
ISU's Shelly Kringen took first place in the all-around event for the second meet in a row with a score of 39.575. Kringen's scores of 9.875 on the uneven bars and 9.825 on the balance beam contributed to her all-around win.
Cyclones Jessy Smith and Sissy Huey tied for second in the all-around competition (39.375). Smith's score marked her career-high.

Huey took second in the floor exercise with a 9.925. She marked a 9.775 on vault and on the balance beam. Huey placed fourth on the uneven bars in a three-way tie with Harris and Julie Houk of
