AMES, Iowa - Iowa State looks to get back on track in the Big 12 as they play host to Oklahoma on Saturday evening at Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones, who had won four consecutive matches prior to Wednesday's 3-0 (29-31, 20-30, 17-30) loss to top-ranked Nebraska, are the Big 12's top defensive team. They are holding opponents to a league-low .107 hitting percentage while averaging a league-leading 3.56 blocks per game. First serve is slated for 6:30 p.m.

Scouting Oklahoma
Oklahoma travels to Iowa State winners of seven of its last eight matches. The Sooners had a midweek bye in Big 12 play, playing last Saturday and being swept by top-ranked Nebraska. OU opened conference play with a Big 12 road win at Texas A&M.
The Sooners are led by outside hitter Joanna Schmitt and middle blocker Eliane Santos. Schmitt leads the team, averaging 4.54 kills per game, while Santos' 1.50 blocks per game is tops on the team.
Last Time Out
The Cyclones, who received six votes in this weeks AVCA poll, fell to top-ranked Nebraska, 3-0 (29-31, 20-30, 17-30), on Wednesday night, ending their four match winning streak. The Cyclones actually held leads of 19-14 and 28-27 in the first game but were unable to hold off the Huskers. Katie Jessen had 12 kills and four Cyclones, led by 15 from Kaylee Manns, had double-figure digs.
Closing In On 1,000
ISU senior outside hitter Katie Jessen is closing in on the historical 1,000-kill club. Jessen has 932 career kills and is looking to become the sixth ISU player to reach the mark. Kirstin Hugdahl and Steph McCannon both reached the mark in 1994.
