AMES, Iowa ? ISU sophomore goalkeeper Ann Gleason has earned a pair of honors for her efforts against Oklahoma State and Oklahoma last weekend. Gleason is the Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week while Soccer Buzz Magazine has named the Stillwater, Minn. native to their Elite Team of the Week. Gleason made 14 saves while shutting out the Cowgirls and Sooners.

Gleason made six saves against the then-No. 16 Cowgirls before collecting eight saves against regionally-ranked Oklahoma. Gleason now has five shutouts, first in the Big 12, including three consecutive.

In addition to the top shutouts mark in the Big 12, Gleason is ranked at or near the top of the conference in every goalkeeper statistic. She's first in goals-against average (0.52), shutouts (5), and shutouts per game (0.56). With a .906 save percentage, she's less than a thousandth of a point behind the Big 12 leader. She's also second in saves per game (5.33) and fourth in saves (48).
