- The Cyclones have never faced the Wolfpack.
- The Wolfpack advanced to the NCAA Tournament last season after winning the WAC Tournament. They made a very respectable appearance, falling to Stanford, 2-1, in the opening round.
- Nevada is coached by Antoinette Marjanovic. In her first year as Interim Head Coach, Marjanovic has compiled a 1-3-1 record. This is Marjanovic's fourth season with the program, having served as an assistant coach for the past three years.

A Closer Look At UNLV
- The Cyclones have never faced the Runnin' Rebels.
- The Runnin' Rebels (3-2-1) received votes in both the latest NSCAA/adidas and Soccer Buzz West Regional Rankings.
- Rebels coach Katherine Mertz is in her third season. She has a 25-20-7 record.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Alicia Lugo has been one of the toughest netminders in the NCAA to score on this season.
- Senior forward Katie Carney has been a force on the UNLV front line, scoring three goals and dishing out two assists for eight points, all team-highs. Sophomore midfielder Brianna Moore and freshman midfielder Amanda Forrester have a goal and an assist for three points apiece. Net Returns
- The Cyclones returned 95 percent of their scoring from last season. Senior forward Brittanie Waddell was ISU's leading scorer with five goals while sophomore Lauren Odino netted four goals. Senior midfielder Stephanie Kaphingst had three goals while fellow senior Erin Witte found the back of the net twice. Junior Leslie Hill and sophomores Amanda Nimtz, Casey Bothwell, and Lauren Fader each scored one goal. The only goal scorer from last season that did not return was Jess Villhauer, who scored once before graduating in the Spring.
