? The Cyclones return home Friday at 4 p.m. for a match with 2007 Missouri Valley Conference Champion, Illinois State. The match will serve as a break from the league after the Cyclones have played four consecutive Big 12 games. Sunday, ISU travels to Texas for its third match in the Lone Star State in a week, when the Cyclones take on seventh-ranked and 2007 Big 12 regular-season champions, Texas A&M, in College Station at 1:30 p.m.
? Iowa State is undefeated against Illinois State with a 2-0-1 edge. The two sides last met Sept. 19, 2003, in a 1-1 tie in Normal, Ill.
? The Aggies are 12-1-2 all-time against the Cyclones. The last meeting between the two squads was Nov. 7, 2007 at the Big 12 Conference Championship quarterfinals that ended in a 1-1 tie. Texas A&M advanced after winning a penalty-kick shootout. Iowa State's lone victory in College Station was a 1-0 upset over 18th-ranked Texas A&M Oct. 7, 2005. Current Cyclone Elisa Berzins assisted on the game-winning score.

? The Cyclones broke the ISU Soccer Complex attendance record with a crowd of 929 Sept. 26, against Missouri.
? A then ISU Soccer Complex record crowd of 892 saw the Cyclones down Drake, 2-1, Sept. 19. The match against Iowa Sept. 21 ranked as a close second with 884 fans in attendance. The previous high came on Sept. 8, 2000, against Iowa, with a crowd of 724.
? The 2008 Missouri match attendance was the 17th largest crowd to ever see an Iowa State soccer match.
? The Cyclones are currently fourth in attendance in the Big 12 with 743 fans per game this year.
Goals Galore for Cyclones:
? With 19 goals this season and seven games remaining, the Cyclones are only five goals shy of equaling last year's regular-season output.
The Lone Star State Has Not Been Kind to ISU:
? Iowa State has an all-time record of 6-27-3 in matches played in Texas. However, the Cyclones have lost only once in their last three matches in Texas (0-1-2).
Bishop and Gleason Rankings:
? Sophomore midfielder Jordan Bishop's five assists this season have her tied for third in assists on the Big 12 leaderboard. Bishop is also tied for 10th on the ISU career assist chart with nine and is one shy of being tied for 10th on the single-season chart. Her five assists already eclipse last season's individual-high of four.
? Junior goalkeeper, Ann Gleason is first in the Big 12 in saves per game at 7.75.
? With her shutout of Baylor last Friday, Gleason sits atop the ISU career shutouts list at 11.
? Gleason's 18 career goalkeeper wins have her three victories from tying the ISU career mark.
? With 4,777 minutes in net, Gleason is 119 minutes short of the ISU career mark.
A Closer Look At Illinois State:
? In their one match last weekend, the Redbirds won 1-0 at Creighton with senior forward Mel Routledge scoring with 1.4 seconds remaining.
? Routledge leads Illinois State with 11 points this season on a team-best five goals while adding one assist. Junior midfielder Ammanda Wisniewski paces the Redbirds with four assists.
? The Redbirds have given significant time to three goalies this season. Katie Grill-Donovan has been in net the most this year. The junior has conceded 11 scores for a 1.43 goals-against average. Freshman Sasha Reiber has seen 425 minutes in net and allowed five goals for a 1.06 goals-against average. Freshman Courtney Blake has seen 90 minutes of action this year and allowed one goal. Reiber has started the past four games after taking over for Grill-Donovan.
? The Redbirds and the Cyclones both played Missouri this season. Illinois State lost 5-0 in an Aug. 17 exhibition, while Iowa State fell to the Tigers 3-0 Sept. 26. The two sides also faced Creighton. ISU won 2-0 Aug. 16, in Omaha while Illinois State won 1-0 in Omaha last Saturday.
? Illinois State was the 2007 Missouri Valley Conference regular-season champion.
? The Redbirds return three first or second team All-Missouri Valley Conference selections from 2007. Junior midfielder Raquel Rattray was on the first team while both junior midfielder Danielle Mutters and goalkeeper Katie Grill-Donovan were named to the second team.
? Head coach Drew Roff is in his second year as the head coach of Illinois State. Roff led the Redbirds to a 10-4-4 in his first campaign after leading the University of Indianapolis the previous two seasons. Roff played collegiately at Michigan State where he was a four-year starter and an all-American in 1994.

? The Aggies are coming off two wins over Oklahoma squads last weekend. Texas A&M downed 12th-ranked Oklahoma State 2-1 Friday in College Station. The Aggies followed that with a 5-0 victory over Oklahoma Sunday in College Station.
? Texas A&M boasts one of the most formidable home-field advantages in the country. The Aggies led the nation in total home attendance in 2007 with 37,781 fans. A 2006 match against North Carolina is credited with having the NCAA single-game record of 8,204 fans. This season, they are tops in the Big 12 in attendance with an average of 3,832 a game, nearly 2,500 better than the next on the list. Texas A&M is 6-1-0 at home this season, with the lone loss being to second-ranked North Carolina.
? The Aggies advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last year before falling to Texas, 3-2.
? Texas A&M won its fourth consecutive and sixth overall Big 12 regular-season championship in 2007.
? The Aggies return a pair of players who received All-Big 12 recognition in 2007. ? G. Guerrieri is in his 16th season as the only coach in Texas A&M program history. He has compiled a 255-73-14 record at Texas A&M with a career mark of 271-85-14 that also include stops at Richland College and Hardin-Simmons. Guerrieri played collegiately at Tulsa where he was a standout goalkeeper.
