AMES, Iowa--The Iowa State soccer team concludes its 2009 season with a trip to Big 12 Conference foe Nebraska Friday. The Cyclones and Cornhuskers are set to square off at 3:30 p.m. at the Nebraska Soccer Field.

? Iowa State is in its 14th season of soccer. The Cyclones have a 110-138-26 all-time record.
? Nebraska leads the all-time series with Iowa State, 10-2-1.

? Friday's match will be the final match in Cardinal and Gold for seven graduating Cyclone soccer players. They are: Elisa Berzins, Casey Bothwell, Lauren Fader, Ann Gleason, Amanda Nimtz, Adrianna O'Neill and Elise Reid.
Historic Win Over Texas
? The Cyclones'1-0 win over Texas Oct. 18 was the second time Iowa State defeated the Longhorns in 17 matches. The victory was the Cyclones' first over UT since 1999.
Defensive Numbers
? Iowa State has allowed one goal per game this season. The Cyclones' goals-against average is third best in the Big 12 Conference, with Oklahoma State and Baylor ahead of ISU.
? Senior goalkeeper Ann Gleason is ranked second in the Big 12 in saves (80), saves per game (4.21) and shutouts (five). The Stillwater, Minn., native is also third in the Big 12 in goals-against average (1.00), and saves percentage (.800).
Soccer Squad Looks to Continue ISU Upsets in Lincoln
? With the Iowa State football squad defeating Nebraska in Lincoln for the first time in 1977 and the Cyclone volleyball squad downing the Cornhuskers for the first time in 76 tries, the Iowa State soccer team will be looking to win in Lincoln for the second time in program history. Iowa State's lone victory in Lincoln was a 2-0 shutout on Oct. 28, 2005.
Woelfel: Two-Time Big 12 Honoree
? Freshman Amanda Woelfel has been named the Big 12 Conference Newcomer of the week on two separate occasions this season. The Omaha, Neb., native first received the honor after matches on Sept. 4 and 6. Woelfel scored the game-winning goal against No. 20 DePaul Sept. 4, and added an insurance goal for the Cyclones in the victory.
? Woelfel most recently received the honor for matches played on Oct. 2 and 4. Woelfel scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Oklahoma State Oct. 2, and also added an assist in the win. Woelfel then assisted on the game-winning goal in a 1-0 sudden-victory win over Northern Iowa Oct. 4. The goal was scored with 17 seconds remaining in the first overtime period.
Gleason Records Watch
? Senior goalkeeper Ann Gleason is currently in second place on the Iowa State career goals-against average mark at 1.54. Gleason is already first in ISU history in career saves (398), shutouts (16) and wins (26). The Stillwater, Minn., native was a Preseason All-Big 12 selection.
