CYber CYd With Kaylee Manns: Day Two At The U.S. National Team Tryouts
Hey Cyclone Fans,
Saturday was another busy day for us three. Victoria and Mass played from 8-10 a.m. and I played from noon-2 p.m. There was a nice break in between for lunch for all of us and Victoria and Mass played again at 2:30 p.m.. I was very jealous of them when I had to go back and play from 6:30-8:30 p.m. because they were all done.
During the morning session we did a lot of passing and serving. We were asked to try a new way of passing and it was very difficult to get used to. We finally started to play during the evening session. It was a lot of work for Victoria because we had to set and hit at the outsides every time. There are a ton of girls here so there is very limited playing time for everyone. When you get the chance you have to show the coaches what you can do!
Once the day was all over we relaxed, did some homework and found out our court assignments for tomorrow. Victoria and I are to go at 8 a.m. and Mass at 10 a.m. Wish us all luck!
Go State!
