AMES, Iowa?The Iowa State soccer team received another addition to its 2010 campaign Monday with Des Moines, Iowa native Natalie Hall set to join the Cyclones.
Hall, a forward, comes to Iowa State after first-team all-conference and honorable mention all-state honors in 2009 while playing for West Des Moines Valley High School under Rob Chapman. Hall was also a member of the 2008 Iowa state championship squad and the 2008 and 2009 conference champions.
"Natalie has been part of a rich tradition of success with the West Des Moines Valley High School soccer program led by Coach Rob Chapman,” Iowa State head coach Wendy Dillinger said. “Natalie is a tireless worker who is versatile and can play any position on the field. Her ability to play many roles will be an asset for us next year. She possesses the drive and the mentality to make a difference. We are thrilled to be adding another Iowan to the Cyclone soccer program.”
Hall plays club soccer for Iowa Rush Nike. She has been a member of six-consecutive Iowa State Cup winning teams.
Hall has also played varsity basketball for Valley and will be the Cyclones only player in the 2010 class from Iowa.
