Cyclones Reveal Awards at Team Banquet

AMES, Iowa?The Iowa State soccer team unveiled its team awards for the 2009 campaign at its team banquet this past weekend.
Junior midfielder Jordan Bishop earned the Offensive Most Valuable Player Award, while sophomore defender Mary Kate McLaughlin received the Defensive Most Valuable Player Award.
The Most Improved Player was Kelsey Calvert, while Amanda Woelfel was tabbed Newcomer of the Year. Seniors Elisa Berzins (Iron Woman Award), Casey Bothwell (Cyclone Excellence Award) and Ann Gleason (Coaches' Award) were also honored.
