Ducharme Earns Drake Fall Classic Title

DES MOINES - Iowa State cross country redshirt freshman Daniel Ducharme led the Cyclones Friday at the Bulldog Classic, taking first place in the men's 4,000-meter run. The Iowa State women's side was led by junior Kellien Oettle and redshirt freshman Nicole Engelhardt, who placed second and third, respectively.

Ducharme won the race with a time of 12:38. He was followed closely by teammates sophomore Garrett Eklof and redshirt freshman Tyler Rich, who finished third and fourth, respectively.

The Cyclone women saw five of their six runners place in the top ten of the 4,000-meter race.

The Cyclones next play host to the Iowa Intercollegiate Sat., Sept. 18 at 11 a.m., at the Iowa State Cross Country Course.
