Jobe Earns Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week Honor

IRVING, Texas?Iowa State's freshman goalkeeper Maddie Jobe was named Big 12 Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for her performances on Sept. 3 (at Creighton) and Sept. 5 (vs. North Dakota State).
Jobe did not allow goal in 200 minutes of action last week while registering 14 saves. Jobe helped lead the Cyclones to a 1-0 victory over Creighton and a 0-0 double-overtime draw with North Dakota State.
The Eden Prairie, Minn., native is Iowa State's first league defensive player of the week since goalkeeper Ann Gleason accomplished the feat Oct. 2, 2007.
