AMES, Iowa - Iowa State (14-4, 1-2) hits the road for the fifth time this season, traveling to Stillwater, Okla., to face Oklahoma State (13-4, 1-2) on Wednesday. The Cyclones will try to end their 15-game losing streak to the Cowboys in Stillwater. The last Iowa State victory in Gallagher-Iba Arena was on March 2, 1988 (97-88).

- The Cyclones fell down by as many as eight points in the first half, but ended the first stanza on a 25-10 run to take a 39-32 lead at the break.

- Vanderbeken, who has made a 3-pointer in 11-straight games, is 21-of-41 (51.2 percent) from 3-point range in his last five games.
- Scott Christopherson chipped in with 17 points behind five 3-pointers...Christopherson has made a 3-pointer in 20-straight games and his 54 3-pointers on the season already ranks 15th on Iowa State's season list.
- Diante Garrett continued his stellar play as ISU's floor leader, scoring 16 points and dishing out a career-high-tying 11 assists for his second double-double of the season.
- It was Garrett's eighth double-digit assist game of his career while playing his second consecutive complete game (40 minutes).
- Garrett is the Big 12's leader in assists (6.1 apg) and needs two dimes to crack the Big 12's career top-10 in assists.
- Calvin Godfrey was the spark off the bench for the Cyclones, tallying nine points and seven rebounds in 18 minutes of action.
- Iowa State shot a season-low seven free throws, but made 6-of-7 at the foul line...the Cyclones have made 18-of-their-last-19 free-throw attempts, and at 83.3 percent (25-30 FT), lead the Big 12 in free-throw percentage in conference games only.
