Cancelled Event: Volleyball versus Minnesota

AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State volleyball team will gather at Johnny's at Hilton Coliseum at 5 p.m. CDT on Sunday to find out who and where it will play in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Fans are invited to join the Cyclones at Johnny's and doors will open at the northeast entrance of Hilton at 4:45 p.m.
Iowa State has made five-consecutive trips to the NCAA tournament under current head coach Christy Johnson-Lynch including the program's first-ever trip to the Elite Eight in 2008. Last season the Cyclones fell, 3-2, to Creighton in the first round of the tournament.
The 14th-ranked Cyclones (22-4, 13-2 Big 12) will play their final regular season match on Saturday night, hosting Texas A&M at 6:30 p.m. Seniors Carly Jenson, Caitlin Mahoney, Kelsey Petersen and Debbie Stadick will be recognized in a ceremony immediately following the match.
The NCAA selection show will air on ESPNU at 5 p.m. Sunday.
