AMES, Iowa-The Iowa State soccer team heads to Fort Worth, Texas Friday to take on the TCU Horned Frogs Friday at 7 p.m.

The Cyclones (8-7-2) earned their second conference victory of the season against the Baylor Bears after some late heroics from senior Emily Goldstein. With 23 seconds remaining in the first overtime period and the score notched at 0-0, Goldstein received a pass from Koree Willer with two Baylor defenders standing between her and the Bears goal. Goldstein shed the defenders a fired a shot into the Baylor goal to give the Cyclones the 1-0 win.
Scouting the Horned Frogs
TCU (5-8-3) is led by freshman Michelle Prokof, who sits fourth in the conference for goals scored this season with seven. The Horned Frogs are a young team. Six of the Seven TCU players that have scored this season have been freshman or sophomores. TCU ranks seventh overall in the Big 12 for both goals scored and goals scored per game this season.
What to watch for
The key matchup in this game will be to see how the young TCU offensive players look to attack an experienced Cyclone defense. The Cyclone defensive unit has recorded six shutouts this season. The Horned Frogs have been shutout seven times this season.
