AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State soccer team officially set its spring schedule Wednesday. The Cyclones are slated to begin their spring campaign March 9 at Nebraska and conclude the season April 20 when they play host to the Big Ten/Big 12 challenge at the new Cyclone Sports Complex.
Iowa State opens its spring season with a visit to Nebraska on March 9. The match is set to kickoff at 2 p.m. CT.
The Cyclones will then take a near-month break before traveling to Cedar Falls, Iowa, for two matches on April 7. Iowa State will meet Drake at 12:30 p.m. in Cedar Falls before playing either Northern Iowa or Milwaukee at 3:30 p.m.
St. Louis is the next destination for the Cyclone soccer squad. Iowa State will play at St. Louis April 13 at 5:30 p.m. The Cyclones will then face Washington University on April 14 at 10:30 a.m. and Quincy at 1 p.m. All three matches are scheduled to be played at St. Louis University.
Iowa State closes out its spring season by playing host to the Big Ten/Big 12 challenge on April 20 at the Cyclone Sports Complex. In addition to the Cyclones, Iowa, Kansas and Minnesota will play at the challenge. Matchups and game times for the Big Ten/Big 12 challenge will be announced at a later date.
