AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State volleyball team continues Big 12 play Wednesday with at match at Kansas State Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. at Ahearn Field House in Manhattan.
The match between the Cyclones (8-5, 1-2 Big 12) and Wildcats (15-2, 2-1 Big 12) will be televised by FOX Sports Midwest. Those without access to FOX Sports Midwest can watch the match via K-StateHD.TV, a subscription-based service. For more info, click

Cyclone Notes
- With their first Big 12 win of 2014 secured, the Iowa State volleyball team is back on the road this Wednesday to take on Kansas State at Ahearn Field House in Manhattan at 7 p.m.
- The Cyclones dropped the first set of their match Saturday against West Virginia, before bouncing back to take the next three sets and the win.
- The win over WVU marked Iowa State's 100th win at Hilton Coliseum under Christy Johnson-Lynch.
- Victoria Hurtt was dominant, recording a season-high 20 kills at a .340 hitting percentage. Alexis Conaway chipped in by tying a career-high with 12 kills at a career-best .526 hitting percentage. Suzanne Horner tied a career-high with 56 assists, and Caitlin Nolan led the defense with 25 digs.
- For the second time in 2014, Nolan has been named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts at No. 2 Texas (19 digs) and against WVU (25 digs). Nolan's Big 12 DPOW honor marks the 38th time a Cyclone has won the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week Award.
- Nolan has continued ISU's tradition of great liberos, ranking atop the Big 12 and 15th in the NCAA with 5.29 digs per set. Nolan has also helped lead ISU's service game at 0.29 aces per set, ranking ninth in the Big 12.
- Alexis Conaway has been the key figure for the Cyclones on both offense and defense. The freshman has been hot on offense as of late, recording 10 kills in four of her last seven matches. On defense, Conaway ranks fifth in the Big 12 and 60th in the NCAA with her 1.24 blocks per set. Conaway has posted at least 5.0 total blocks in seven of Iowa State's last 10 matches.
- Three of ISU's five losses have come to the top-three teams in NCAA RPI in No. 1 Stanford, No. 2 Florida State and No. 3 Texas. Iowa State checked into the NCAA RPI at No. 27 and face matches this week against No. 19 Kansas State and No. 31 Oklahoma.
