AMES, Iowa - No. 19 Iowa State (5-2, 0-0 Big 12) looks to end a two-game losing streak when it plays host to Omaha (4-4, 0-0 Summit League) Monday night at Hilton Coliseum. Omaha enters the game coming off the heels of a 98-89 win at Iowa on Saturday, while the Cyclones fell to Cincinnati, 55-54, in overtime on Thursday.

• As of Dec. 2, Iowa State is ranked No. 19 in the Associated Press preseason poll, up two spots from last week...the Cyclones have been ranked in a school-record 60 consecutive AP polls, the third-longest streak nationally (Kansas, Arizona)...ISU is No. 21 in the coaches poll.
• ISU dropped its second consecutive game Thursday night, falling in overtime to Cincinnati, 55-54, in a defensive battle...the Cyclones shot just 36.7 percent from the field, its fourth consecutive game shooting below 45 percent...ISU's two losses have been by a combined three points...the Cyclones had the ball with a chance to win in both games.
• In the last three games, ISU is averaging just 66.0 points per game...the Cyclones' defense has been solid in that stretch, holding opponents to just 40.1 percent shooting from the field, 29.0 percent behind the arc and just 61.3 points per game.

• It should come as no surprise, but Iowa State ranks among the nation's top teams in taking care of the basketball...the Cyclones average 10.4 turnovers per game, which leads the Big 12...ISU's turnover percentage of 13.6 ranks fourth nationally.
• Iowa State has been without the help of freshman post Solomon Young (left hand injury) the last four games...Young's status remains day-to-day...prior to his injury, Young was averaging 8.7 points and 5.3 rebounds in 15 minutes off the bench...he was shooting 71.3 percent from the field.

• The loss ended ISU's 37-game home nonconference winning streak...ISU had won 27 consecutive games when holding opponents to 69 points or less.
• The Cyclones led with a minute left in regulation and overtime...the loss snapped a 25-game win streak when leading with a minute left.
