Iowa State is coming off a 1-1 week, sweeping K-State at home before falling to then-No. 5 Texas in Austin in three sets. The Cyclones will look to continue a strong run of performances against West Virginia, as ISU is 10-0 against the Mountaineers ever since WVU joined the Big 12 in 2012.
The Mountaineers are making a run towards a possible NCAA Tournament bid, coming into the match at 13-6 on the season. However, while the Mountaineers have been strong at home, the possibility of volleyball in December pends on their ability to win matches on the road. WVU is led by sophomore outside hitter Payton Caffrey, who averages 3.18 kills per set.
