VB to Host Exhibition Against Drake on Aug. 12

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State fans will get their first chance to catch a glimpse of the 2017 Cyclone volleyball squad a week earlier this year, as ISU will host Drake in an exhibition match on Saturday, Aug. 12 at 10 a.m. inside Hilton Coliseum. Admission to the match will be free.
Beginning with the 2017 volleyball season, Division I volleyball teams are now permitted to play one exhibition match against a Division I opponent that will not count towards their end-of-season record or RPI. Along with the match on Aug. 12, Iowa State will still host the annual Cardinal and Gold Scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 19 at 1 p.m.
