No. 19 Iowa State Heads to Shocker Volleyball Classic

AMES, Iowa - No. 19 Iowa State will look to bounce back from its first loss of the season at the challenging Shocker Volleyball Classic this weekend, hosted by Wichita State. The Cyclones begin competition on Saturday with No. 8 Creighton at 4:30 p.m., and will close out the weekend taking on hosts Wichita State at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Both matches will take place at Charles Koch Arena.
Tickets to both matches can be purchased online now at goshockers.com, or on the day of the match at Charles Koch Arena.
Neither match will be streamed online. For those in Kansas, Sunday's match against the Shockers will be shown live on Cox YurView Kansas. Cox Communications subscribers should check their local listings for potential showings. Live stats will be provided by Wichita State, links can be found on the ISU schedule page, here.
This marks the second season this triangular has taken place. Last season, Iowa State hosted the event, with all three teams finishing 1-1. Iowa State opened the tournament by sweeping Wichita State, but the Shockers bounced back to knock off Creighton in five sets. The Jays closed out the tournament with a four-set defeat of Iowa State.
