• Iowa State heads to Allen Fieldhouse for a showdown with Kansas Tuesday evening...ISU is looking to win consecutive games in Lawrence for the third time in school history (1962-63, 2000-01).

• Iowa State is trying to avoid a four-game losing streak as it heads to Kansas...this is the first time under third-year head coach Steve Prohm that ISU has suffered a three-game losing streak...the last three-game losing streak for the Cyclones came during one of their best seasons in 2013-14, when ISU finished 28-8 and advanced to the Sweet 16.
• Donovan Jackson recorded his seventh game with 24-plus points after hitting 6-of-8 three-pointers and fishing with a career-high 30 points at Oklahoma State...among Big 12 players, only OU's Trae Young has more games with at least 24 points...it was was his fourth game this season with at least six threes as he has connected on 47 three-pointers this season...the Milwaukee native is 39-of-42 from the free-throw line, topping the Big 12 and ranking ninth nationally at 92.9 percent...he has averaged 23.2 points in games played away from Hilton Coliseum.
• Redshirt freshman Cameron Lard made his first start for the Cyclones against Oklahoma State...Lard is averaging 11.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.9 blocks...he has scored in double figures in five of the last six games...he posted career highs of 21 points and 16 rebounds against Texas...Lard is third among Big 12 players and among the top-20 nationally shooting 63.8 percent from the field...Duke's Marvin Bagley is the only other freshman among the top-20 nationally in FG%...Lard has seven multi-block games...he had four blocks in 23 minutes against OSU.
• Junior Nick Weiler-Babb is one of college basketball's most well-rounded players...a stat-sheet stuffer, Weiler-Babb is the only player nationally averaging at least 12 points to go along with seven rebounds and seven assists...he and TCU's Kenrich Williams are the only Big 12 players among the league's top-10 in both rebounds and assists...he has five double-doubles this season after just missing a triple-double against OSU (12 points, 11 assists, 9 rebounds).
• Weiler-Babb ranks sixth nationally averaging 7.5 assists per game, posting five double-digit assist games...with three complete games already this season, Weiler-Babb ranks third nationally and leads all Big 12 players averaging 38.3 minutes per game...he played all 45 minutes against Texas and followed with 41 against Oklahoma State.
• Lindell Wigginton continues to be one of the nation's top freshmen...he has posted five 20-point games, matching Craig Brackins and Ron Harris for the third-most by any Cyclone rookie...he is 15th in the Big 12, including second among freshmen, averaging 14.8 points.
• Solomon Young is averaging 12.0 points and 4.7 rebounds in conference play...he has scored in double figures in two of three Big 12 games after not doing so during nonconference play.

• ISU has four wins at Allen Fieldhouse since the Big 12 was formed...the rest of the league has seven combined and no other school has more than one...ISU won back-to-back games in Lawrence in 2000 and 2001.

• Iowa State dropped a second-straight overtime Saturday, falling 96-87 to Oklahoma State in Stillwater...the Cyclones held an eight-point lead with 3:32 left but were unable to fend off the late rally.
• ISU lost despite holding a 34-32 edge at the half, snapping a streak of 32 consecutive wins when holding a lead at the break.
• The Cyclones got a career-best 30 points from Jackson...Weiler-Babb and Young were also in double figures with 12 points each...Weiler-Babb narrowly missed a triple-double, finishing with 12 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds.
• ISU was 25-for-30 at the line...Jackson was 8-for-9 as he, Wigginton (5-5) and Weiler-Babb (4-4) combined to go 17-for-18 at the charity stripe in the losing effort.
