No. 15 Iowa State Prepped For Bradley Classic

AMES, Iowa – The No. 15 Iowa State women's cross country team will compete at the 2018 Ideal Rentals Bradley Pink Classic on Friday, Oct. 12. The mixed-gender Open Race will begin at 2:30 p.m., which will be followed by the women's 6k Red Race at 3:15 p.m.
The ISU women will get a good look at Bradley's home course at Newman Golf Course, which is set to host the NCAA Midwest Regional on Friday, Nov. 9.

-The Iowa State women continue to climb in the USTFCCCA National Coaches' Poll. This week, they're ranked No. 15 nationally, and occupy the top spot in both the Midwest Region and the Big 12.
-Last time out, ISU posted at top-10 finish at the Nuttycombe Invitational, finishing 9th.
-2017 Big 12 Newcomer of the Year, Cailie Logue, paced the Cyclones in Madison. Logue posted a 21st-place finish, shortly followed by teammate, and All-Big 12 performer, Anne Frisbie, who finished 31st individually.
-Iowa State began the 2018 cross country campaign with a victory at the Hawkeye Invitational.
-The women were led by All-Big 12 performer Abby Caldwell, who finished runner-up individually. In total, seven Cardinal and Gold runners finished in the top-10.
