After starting out league play 0-6, last week saw the Wildcats pick up wins over then-No. 22 Kansas in Manhattan and then-No. 24 Baylor in Waco. On Wednesday night, the Wildcats fell at home to Oklahoma in four sets. In defeat, K-State was led by 14 kills from Brooke Heyne, the reigning Big 12 Freshman of the Week, and 10 kills and seven blocks by Elle Sandbothe.
Iowa State will be looking for its fifth-straight win over the Wildcats in the all-time series which ISU leads 52-39. In this season's first meeting on Oct. 10 in Manhattan, the visiting Cyclones came out victorious in four sets. Leading the way was Grace Lazard, who notched a career-high 17 kills at .625 hitting and seven blocks. Jess Schaben had a double-double of 14 kills and 13 digs, Josie Herbst posted 13 kills and Izzy Enna had a career-best 17 digs.
