Texas sits atop the Big 12 with Texas Tech, both sides boasting 4-0 records. The Longhorns survived a tough test at TCU on Wednesday, taking down the Horned Frogs in five sets. UT won the first two sets, before TCU bounced back to take the next two sets. In the fifth, TCU got ahead 12-10, but the Horns bounced back to take the final five points of the match and keep their undefeated league start in one piece.
Texas is riding a 23-match Big 12 winning streak heading into Saturday's contest. Iowa State was the last team to beat Texas in conference play, defeating the Longhorns in five sets at Hilton Coliseum in Nov. 2016. The Cyclones will be looking to pick up their first win over the Longhorns in Austin in program history.
